Your personal development

The Monash GSB approach offers a sophisticated educational experience that integrates personal development with your academic program. Personal development units are available within your masters program as either elective or core units, enabling you to select from a suite of subjects designed to develop your capacity to lead and manage in an international business environment.

Opportunities to develop a range of generic personal skills through regular workshops are also offered by Monash GSB throughout the semester. Areas include teamwork, problem solving, communication, leadership, service excellence as a competitive advantage and planning and organisation. Advanced workshops in executive leadership and initiative and innovation give our students an edge in the business world.

Quality education

The Monash GSB has established a strong reputation for teaching and research excellence across business disciplines. This reputation is built on our innovative and progressive approach to course delivery, and the strong links we have forged with commerce and industry, both in Australia and overseas. This makes a Monash degree truly international enabling our graduates to work around the world.

• EQUIS accreditation
  The faculty has been awarded international business school accreditation by the European Quality Improvement System, better known as EQUIS. The accreditation establishes Monash’s Faculty of Business and Economics and the Monash GSB as one of the world’s leading higher education institutions in management and business administration.
  
• Association of MBAs
  The Monash MBA program has been awarded accreditation by the Association of MBAs (AMBA). MBA programs are accredited by AMBA in more than 40 different countries. The Monash MBA is just the third such program in Australia to be recognised by AMBA.
  

Flexibility

GSB programs offer real flexibility. You can choose to study during the daytime or in the evening; you can accelerate your progress by studying in summer or winter semesters and you have the opportunity to undertake study by off-campus learning.
