Returning student enrolments (re-enrol)
Students must enrol in semesters 1 and 2 for 2010 via the Web Enrolment System (WES). You are responsible for complying with course requirements, including satisfying unit prerequisites and co-requisites. It is important to enrol in your full enrolment load so that there are no delays in being able to register to tutorials.
- Access to WES
- To gain access to WES you are required to use your student AuthCate Username and Password. If you do not know your AuthCate Username and Password you must access http://www.monash.edu.au/students/computer/ or contact the ITS HelpDesk on +61 3 9905 1777.
- You must click on the “submit enrolment” button for your unit selections to be processed. Each time you make a successful enrolment transaction on WES you will receive a transaction number commencing with “U” being displayed on screen and emailed to your Monash University email account. It is essential that you retain all transaction numbers and details as proof of enrolment or amendment to enrolment. If you do not receive a transaction number your enrolment/amendments have not been saved, and you will need to try again.
- You must ensure that you complete the correct CORE units for your course structure. Some core units are offered in one semester only in 2010, so please ensure that you enrol in core units when they are availabl

Re-enrolment after intermission
Students who are on intermission are still expected to re-enrol for the following academic year within the same timeframes as currently enrolled students.
Intermitted students will be issued with the same re-enrolment correspondence as enrolled students, including emails to Monash email accounts, but must ensure that they maintain current postal address details with the University so that hardcopy correspondence can be correctly mailed.
Unit failure
If you have failed a unit you can still use WES to amend your enrolment.
If you have failed any units which are pre or co-requisites for the upcoming semester, the enrolled units will be shown on WES as 'INVALID' this means that you are not enrolled in the unit. You must therefore select replacement units.
Please remember that you must re-allocate for classes after any change to your enrolment.
If you fail only the last unit of your study you may be eligible for Special Assessment. Contact the Student Administration Office on your home campus for further details.
