Michael Valos's 2010 research into marketers’ use of online marketing and media has shown a rising maturity since his 2008 study. A certain maturity has occurred in some aspects of blending the new technologies into existing approaches to marketing strategy and marketing communications. However a number of challenges still exist. These appear due to continued rapid evolution of technologies as well as changing consumer behaviour. The three speakers, from McCain Foods, NAB and FirstClick, represent industry and role diversity, being at the forefront of digital technology for a number of years.
