Success at Monash GSB: Orientation Workshops

The GSB offers new students the opportunity to participate in a selection of short optional workshops during Orientation week at Caulfield Campus.

The GSB has streamed this workshop series into three categories aiming to offer something for everyone.

  • Academic skills development
  • Personal and Professional development
  • Library Workshops for BusEco

The workshops are voluntary and although they do not offer any credit towards your field of study, they provide you the chance to help you develop good study habits, meet other new students in an informal setting, and begin to create your own networks, all essential elements in giving you a head start with your Graduate studies.  There is also a Saturday program designed for working and mature age students. A more comprehensive GSB Orientation Workshop Program of these hour-long workshops on Wednesday 24, Thursday 25, and Saturday 27 February 2010 will be available in early January 2010.

This GSB Orientation Workshop series is free and all sessions are conducted at our Caulfield campus.

During your compulsory  GSB Orientation Day program, you will receive a Orientation Workshop Booklet. This booklet is your entrée into the workshop program. If you are unable to attend the one day Orientation program, but would like to attend a workshop, you can collect a Orientation Workshop Booklet from GSB reception in Building N, level 4 at Caulfield Campus.
