GSB Week events

The Graduate School of Business (GSB) is holding a series of events based in the Melbourne CBD and on campus at Caulfield. The GSB will showcase the leadership advantage that you can gain by undertaking a postgraduate business degree offered at Monash. Please click on activity below to register.

The Department of Marketing offer an information session to learn about the programs availablefor both early career marketers and marketing professionals. Hear from current students, ask questions and meet informally with marketing staff.

Forward with Fairness - an analysis of the Rudd government's proposed workplace relations changes and the impact on management and employees   6-8pm
An evening event with an open invitation to attend and participate in a discussion centred on current issues in the industrial relations (IR) area. Topics to be discussed will be the major IR changes proposed by the Rudd government; work life balance issues; organisation productivity and effectiveness; pressing issues and problems that need to be addressed by the new laws; limits to the laws and opportunities and risks for managers.

Tuesday 28 October Monash GSB sampler   - the student experience and personal development session   6-7:30pm
Prospective students will find out how they can build their GSB advantage, through participation in co-curricula activities such as the career-readiness program, mentor program, employability, resume writing and interview skills workshops, to name but a few. Learn first-hand about the GSB experience and all of our program areas from workshop facilitators, academic staff and current students. The Department of Accounting and Finance offers a range of diverse and flexible graduate courses in Accounting, Finance, Banking and Risk Management. Our courses are aligned with industry and accredited by professional bodies, equipping you with invaluable qualifications and experience.

The GSB will hold an Open House information session on Tuesday 20 January, 2009. The event will be in building H (1.16) at the Caulfield campus from 5-7pm. An online form will be available for all prospective students to register for the event closer to the date.
