Master of Marketing

Traditionally marketing was concerned with physical goods and the selling of products. In today’s dynamic global businesses, marketing permeates all areas of operation and encompasses a much broader range of elements – from sustainable marketing practices to not-for-profit marketing, or creating the total buying experience.

As the ever-expanding marketing discipline has advanced into new business territory, so has the demand for highly qualified, innovative and international marketing practitioners; supported by well researched and pertinent marketing knowledge.

The Master of Marketing is designed for experienced marketers and graduates from this program are better equipped to perform in their current role or to secure a promotion to the next level in their organisation or industry. The degree enables those in business to enhance their marketing knowledge or skills and learn with others who share their commitment to career progression.

Career opportunities
The industry is varied with opportunities, for example, in marketing research, brand or product management and marketing communication including advertising. Past graduates have advanced their careers in many different industries including consulting, fast moving consumer goods, business to business, services, not-for-profit and government departments.

This program provides opportunities to align your studies to your career goals. The program offers specialisations in:

  1. International marketing
  2. Marketing communication
  3. Relationship marketing
  4. Retailing
